Biography

Fictional Biography

Huo Hu is a fictional officer created by Capcom for their Nintendo classic, Destiny of an Emperor (1). After facing Lü Bu at Hu Lao Guan fortress, he is found on his own, walking in the southeastern tent. He proudly proclaims his affinity with ‘powders’ and offers his services. (2)

(1): Despite extensive research, it seems the character Huo Hu is not based on any historic officer. This is true of several characters in Destiny of an Emperor.

(2): While Huo Hu earns smiles from many with his colorful introduction, he plays a comparably small role in the game itself. Over the years, though, he has become a beloved symbol of this old classic, sparking common questions as to his background and earning him a place in this most prestigious work.

Huo Hu arrives at a point when your party likely has no skilled tactician and, for those interested, even has enough soldiers to hold his own on the battle lines. He is even capable of learning the powerful tactic, An Sha, though you will have tacticians of much greater skill in your party come that point. He will serve with loyalty right up until you acquire Xu Zhe, better known as Xu Shu.
