Biography
Li Xu was Li Tong’s oldest son. When Li Tong died of illness around c. AD 209 his fief was posthumously increased by 200 households from 400 households and Li Xu’s younger brother, Li Ji, inherited his rank and was at some point stationed at Fancheng. In an edict issued by Cao Pi (c. AD 220) Li Tong’s contributions to the kingdom were recognized and Li Xu, also recognized for achieving merit while stationed at Fancheng, was granted the rank of Gentleman General of the Centre who Pacifies the Caitiffs.
