Biography

Historic (Confirmed)

Tang Zi was originally from Licheng. In the beginning of Huang Chu, the city of Licheng rebelled. The Grand Administrator Xu Ji was killed and Tang Zi was forced to follow them. Wendi [Cao Pi] sent various armies to punish them entered the ocean and when they were destroyed Zi entered Wu. He served as the General of the Left, conferred as a Marquis and given Jie. When Zhuge Dan and Wen Qin were killed, Tang Zi was captured and thus all three rebellions were rapidly pacified. Tang Zi kowtowed and was given the rank of General Who Pacifies the Outer Regions. He was given his former troops and the Wu people were pleased. When Jiang Dong heard of his surrender they did not kill his family. (1)
