Biography
Yan Yu was younger brother to White Tiger Yan. In AD 197 Sun Ce attacked and Yan Yu was sent to parlay. They met face-to-face but when Sun Ce drew his blade Yan Yu jumped in fright, and was promptly cut down. Yan Yu had a reputation for bravery so, seeing this, his men became frightened and were quickly defeated. (1)
