Historic (Unverified)

Zhen Yi hailed from Zhongshan Commandery (near modern-day Baoding, Hebei) and was father of Lady Zhen (who would become Empress Zhen as Cao Pi’s wife). He served the Han as a Commandery Governor and his family was wealthy. He died when Lady Zhen was only two years old. Despite his death, his family remained wealthy, and while the region was torn by war as the Han Dynasty crumbled apart his family played a crucial role in famine relief for the poor, an act with which Lady Zhen was personally involved.
